Martin G D Kelleher MSc. FDSRCPS, FDSRCS (Ed.), FDSRCS (Eng.) has a private practice in Bromley, Kent and is a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics at King`s College Dental Institute at Guy`s, King`s and St Thomas` Dental Hospitals. Martin graduated from Dublin in 1971, completed his Masters at the Eastman Dental Hospital in 1978 and spent another seven years in higher training to be an accredited specialist in restorative dentistry. He was postgraduate tutor at King’s College Hospital and Guy’s Dental Hospital for many years. He is a past president of the British Society for Restorative Dentistry and also served on the Board of Dental Protection Limited (DPL) for 10 years (until 2010), latterly as Chair of its Advisory Committee for Dental Claims.

Learning aims and objectives:

1. To examine some problems and to illustrate useful clinical tips and techniques to help to solve these.
2. To discuss some contentious issues in “cosmetic” dentistry.
3. To improve delegates understanding of some ways of managing compromised ageing dentitions.
4. To discuss strategies to achieve successful outcomes and avoid failures.
